A Prayer for Brenda

We join together now in prayer.

We turn from outer concerns to that holy place within.

We become aware of God as a living, loving,

eternal presence within each one of us.

Today we bring Brenda to mind.

After 20 years, breast cancer has returned.

So we hold Brenda in the light,

God’s healing light of love and compassion.

We see Brenda surrounded by and enfolded in God’s tender care.

We see God’s healing power flowing in and through

every cell, every system, and every organ in her body

comforting her, healing her and reassuring her.

We see all of Brenda’s caregivers surrounded by angels.

We see Brenda’s Doctors and Nurses being guided,

guided and lead to taking the highest and best

actions for her well being.

We see that same loving compassion of God

flowing in and through her husband Larry, all her loved ones,

and friends as they deal with her illness.

God’s compassion, love, and guidance

reassuring, comforting and easing their concerns.

We see Brenda whole, healthy, and healed

on every level of her being:

Body, Mind, and Soul.

We pray this in the name of God and all that is holy.

And So It Is.
