It's funny how you wait for something.

Especially if it takes a while.

You build up these expectations.

Even if you tell yourself, you are not.

I waited 14 months for this event.

When it came, it was far different than I had imagined.

Something wonderful and something very troubling.

I'm having a bit of angst digesting all of it.

It's very personal, and I don't care to share the details.

I'm working on ways to ease the pain of the troubling part.

Release the feelings that arose.

Heal me from what became so apparent.

Then the beautiful part.

The calling, the destiny that became oh so clear.

For five years I've been on this spiritual quest for knowledge.

The last two years wondering what am I to do with all of this?

Then the event, the realization.

The time for dancing around the edges is over.

The time for action is now.

I am boldly stepping into a new life.

Where it will lead is unknown.

I have no doubt I have to do this.

I have no doubt it's the right thing to do.
