Angels

Angels

Angels on high and right beside me,

lest I know,  I do not walk alone

for Angels are right beside me.

Subtle their influence

the feeling to turn here,

or to make that call.

We wish for a dramatic show

of their presence

yet receive subtle signs,

 a loving smile,

or a warm knowing

that comes over us.

Look around

and listen to them.

All around you, they are

if you are but aware

of the Angel's flowing subtle dance.

Weaving love in and through

your life with a sound or a glance,

be it birds chirping

or the soft beauty of a flower at dawn.
